Job Title: Manager – Inside Sales
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager – Inside Sales to lead our inside sales team and drive revenue growth through remote channels. This role will be responsible for developing and executing inside sales strategies, overseeing team performance, aligning with marketing and product teams, and ensuring seamless execution of the sales process from lead generation through to closure.
Sales Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement inside sales plans and tactics to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Identify new customer segments, markets and opportunities for remote/inside sales channels.
Oversee and optimize the sales pipeline: lead qualification, follow-up, conversion and upsell.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align campaigns, messaging and offers with inside sales activities.
	 
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, coach and mentor a team of inside sales representatives to achieve individual and team KPIs.
Set measurable goals (calls, meetings, pipeline value, conversion rates) and monitor progress regularly.
Recruit, onboard and train new team members; continuously develop skills (product, selling, CRM) in the team.
	 
Operations, Metrics & Reporting
Monitor, analyse and report on key sales metrics, trends and team performance—convert data into actionable insights
Prepare forecasts, budgets and sales reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Ensure adherence to sales processes, CRM usage, documentation, and best practices.
	 
 
Customer Relationship & Cross-functional Engagement
Engage with customers directly for escalated deals, negotiation or major accounts as needed.
	 
Work closely with customer service, product development and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive customer experience and to feedback market intelligence into product/sales strategy.
	 
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
	 
Minimum 3 years of experience in inside sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing an inside sales team.
	 
Proven track record of achieving sales targets, growing revenue and managing a team.
	 
Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret sales metrics, forecast performance and take corrective action.
	 
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to motivate and develop sales talent.
	 
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools.
	 
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and managing remote/phone-based sales channels.
	 
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to align inside sales with broader company goals.
	 
Experience in a B2B environment or complex sales (if applicable to your company).
	 
Familiarity with inside sales best practices for remote selling (phone, email, online demo) and managing inside sales pipelines.
Proficient in local/regional market dynamics (if the role is region-specific) and comfortable working across time zones or global teams.
