MANAGER - SALES

Role Overview
We are seeking a capable and driven Branch Head to oversee and grow our branch operations. This role is responsible for managing all branch-level activities including operations, sales, compliance, team leadership, and customer relations. The Branch Head will ensure branch profitability, deliver excellent service, and align branch strategy with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute branch-level business plans and growth strategies
• Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities in the branch’s geography
• Drive sales and revenue by promoting the company’s products or services
• Monitor branch performance metrics (revenue, expense margins, portfolio quality) and take corrective action when needed

Operations & Compliance
• Oversee and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the branch
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor branch budgets, expense control, and profitability
• Ensure proper documentation, records, internal controls, audit compliance, and risk mitigation

Team Leadership & Development
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage branch staff (sales, operations, service)
• Set performance targets and KPIs for the branch team; conduct performance reviews
• Coach staff in best practices, product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
• Foster a positive, high-performance team culture

Customer Relationship & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the key contact for major clients and stakeholders in the branch area
• Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, community bodies, vendors, etc.
• Represent the branch at local events or business forums

Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare and present branch performance reports (financial, sales, operations) to senior management
• Use data / analytics to identify trends, forecast future performance, and recommend improvement
• Monitor branch pipeline, conversion rates, and product mix to optimize offerings

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management or related field
• 7+ years of experience in branch or business unit management (or similar leadership roles)
• Proven track record of achieving targets, driving growth, and managing a team
• Strong financial acumen, budget management, and operational oversight
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance norms, and risk management
• (If relevant) Fluency in local language(s) and English

Preferred Qualities
• Strategic thinker, analytical and results-driven
• Experience in multi-product or multi-service businesses
• Strong local network and market understanding in the branch area
• Familiarity with CRM / ERP / branch software systems
• Willingness to travel locally as needed
